Why Workplace Coffee Deserves Better

Workplace coffee has had a rough time.
For years, it’s been shoved in the corner of the staff room next to a tired kettle, a jar of instant coffee, and a teaspoon that has seen things no spoon should ever see.
But here’s the thing: coffee at work actually matters.
It’s the first cup before a long shift. The quick five-minute reset between meetings. The “please do not speak to me until this is finished” moment. The small break that helps people feel a little more human.
And for visitors, clients or guests, coffee says something too. It quietly tells them whether a place has thought about their experience, or whether they’ve been handed a drink that tastes like warm regret in a paper cup.
At Roma Café, we think workplace coffee should feel considered, reliable and genuinely enjoyable. Not overcomplicated. Not painfully corporate. Just better.
That means good coffee, proper machines, regular maintenance and a setup that works for the people actually using it every day.
Because better coffee will not solve every workplace problem.
But it might make the next meeting slightly more bearable.
